Lake Apopka is one of more than 30,000 lakes in Florida. It is slowly recovering from contamination caused by discharge of harmful pesticides into its waters. It used to be the number one destination for bass anglers in the nation prior to its contamination. Here is a little tribute to its awesome beauty. We hopefully await its total recovery so that our children and our children’s children will enjoy this beautiful gift of nature as the people around it did before us.
